you have to be a student, you have to graduate, then you can be a teacher (adding some teaching quests would be awesome), then you can be an arch-mage if you choose to. so that way it feels more like “ok, your new mages, let’s make sure you know stuff before sending you into a potentially dangerous dungeon” and just things like that make it feel more like being at a college. instead of immediately being sent to saarthal (and abandoned as a novice mage by tolfdir for most of the dungeon) i want to be forced to attend classes, do research, and more proper school stuff. I guess what i want is more along the lines of being an actual student and not becoming arch mage in a few days a nigh on total overhaul.
